This weekend Laurie and I participated in a photoshoot at the coast. Here are a few of the over 500 pictures we took. We visited the beach for the first half of the day, and a redwood forest in the afternoon.
Before the shoot, we took a few shots just for fun. |
Here come the wave. |
And there is the rest of the wave! |
Laurie caught a beauty of a seagull in flight. |
The next few are my attempt to capture the motion of the waves over the rocks. |
Sea Lion enjoying the nice weather |
Bird enjoying the critters near the Sea Lion |
Dead something, not really doing much of anything |
This time, I captures some waves coming right at me! |
Laurie took a free shot. |
Starfish and his afternoon lunch remains. |
Sea Anemome - both shot with the D10, underwater |
And a cute little hermit crab. |
After the beach, we took a drive to Pescadero, picked up sandwiches at a wonderful bakery, and drove to the redwood park, just a few miles inland. There we had lunch and enjoyed the serenity of the coastal forest.
You'll have to look close to see the spiderweb in the center. |
We also captured the denizen of the forest, the Banana Slug! |
Talk about forest primeval! |
